It’s Worth Another Try campaign from Terrence Higgins Trust

  • 1 min read

The ‘It’s worth a try’ campaign launches on Monday 18 July and aims to encourage and support people living with HIV who are currently disengaged from care to return to a HIV clinic. It is being delivered as a pilot across London and Glasgow.

The headline ‘It’s worth a try’ is supported by a series of sub-messages that respond to the different reasons people disengage from HIV care.

These messages draw on motivating factors such as health, wellbeing and family to encourage individuals to seek support and re-engage with HIV services.

The campaign is designed to:

  • Encourage re-engagement with HIV care through Terrence Higgins Trust Direct
  • Reduce stigma, dear and shame, and reassure people about returning to care
  • Raise awareness across the healthcare system.

All messaging has been developed using insights from people living with HIV, including those with experience or disengaging from care.
