Thank You Goody Bags for Home Support & Community Nursing Staff

  • 1 min read

As we begin to ease out of lockdown and move towards some normality a local support project has provided Care at Home and Community Nursing staff with thank bags for the efforts during the pandemic.

Compassionate Inverclyde is a social movement that aims to transform attitudes and everyday practices around loneliness, social isolation, death and bereavement across Inverclyde. The programme is about enabling and nurturing kindness, helpfulness and neighbourliness in Inverclyde.

The project provided 550 bags containing messages, cards and gift which have been distributed to frontline home support and community nursing staff as a thank you for providing vital support to the vulnerable and sick throughout the pandemic.

Louise Long, Corporate Director (Chief Officer), Inverclyde Health and Social Care Partnership said:  “This was a very kind gesture from our partners at Compassionate Inverclyde and staff have really appreciated their kindness.

“A huge thank you to all at Compassionate Inverclyde for thinking of our carers, we are all working together to ensure the safety of our service users, staff and community. #Inverclydecares.”
