Councillor Katie Pragnell is appointed as a non-executive board member from 4th July 2022 until 30th April 2027.
Katie was elected to East Renfrewshire Council in May 2022 and was appointed as Social Work and Health Convener and East Renfrewshire’s representative on the board.
Katie graduated from the Open University with a BA (Honours) in History. She has worked in the political sphere for MPs and MSPs, in both research and caseworker roles. She has also worked in the third sector in policy and research roles.
As someone living with a disability, Katie has a keen interest in promoting disability rights and inclusion.

Dianne Foy is appointed a non-executive member from 1st July 2022 until 30th June 2025.
Dianne is a counsellor in private practice, having graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2018. She is also a qualified Environmental Health Officer, most recently working in public health enforcement during the Coronavirus pandemic.
She is a member of the Board of Flourish House, a mental health charity and The Courtyard Pantry, a food project aiming to alleviate poverty and increase access to food and employment.
Dianne has prior governance experience, having served on the Boards of Glasgow Women’s Aid and Home-Start Renfrewshire and Inverclyde.
Dianne worked within the field of Environmental Protection for 20 years, progressing from officer to Unit Manager level, gaining experience of enforcement, regulation, auditing, policy and strategy, as well as risk management, health and safety and emergency planning.
She has diversified her career significantly in the last ten years, working and volunteering within the third sector and gaining experience within the areas of women’s services, mental health support, families and children, community transport and adult disability.
Having now worked in the private, public and third sectors in a broad range of roles, Dianne Foy feels she has a unique perspective to bring to this Board position.

Professor Angela Wallace was appointed as the Board’s Nurse Director in April 2022.
Angela joined the Board from NHS Forth Valley where she had been Board Nurse Director since 2004. In addition, following her appointment by Scottish Government in February 2020 to the post of Interim Director for Infection Prevention and Control with NHSGGC, Angela has also provided leadership, guidance and assurance to our Board on the management and prevention of infection within our services.
She brings a wealth of experience leading nursing, midwifery and allied health professions.
Professor Angela Wallace’s achievements include the delivery of a comprehensive Quality and Safety strategy and the development of the country’s first nursing and midwifery care assurance system to drive performance improvement in nursing care.
David Gould is appointed a non-executive member from 1st February 2022 and subsequently appointed Vice Chair of the Board from 1st January 2025.
David Gould, a graduate of University of Strathclyde Business School, qualified as a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland in 1997, having trained with Price Waterhouse.
He has devoted his career to working in the public sector. David has occupied Finance roles within Scottish Enterprise and NHS 24 during its key start-up and roll-out phase, before being appointed Head of Corporate Services for Glasgow City Marketing Bureau; responsible for the successful delivery of corporate governance, HR, IT, Legal and Risk Management.
David has held Non-Executive positions within Registers of Scotland and Forestry Commission Scotland during periods of significant organisational challenge and change, and is currently a Non-Executive Director for GoFar Enterprises, a specialist media publisher and the Chairman of an after school care provider.
He is committed to helping to contribute to the people of Glasgow receiving the highest possible level of health and social care though optimising the use of available resources, skills and knowledge.
Outside of work, he is an award-winning sports journalist and photographer.
