Overview of engagement and involvement report 2024-25

  • 2 min read

At NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC), we believe that listening to the voices of our patients, service users, and communities is essential to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. Our newly published Engagement and Involvement Overview Report  offers a look at how teams and services across NHSGGC and our 6 HSCPs have worked in partnership with the public throughout to shape services that truly reflect the needs and experiences of those we serve.

This report highlights the breadth and depth of engagement across NHSGGC, from strategic policy development and digital innovation to local service improvements and community led initiatives. It showcases how feedback has directly influenced areas such as mental health redesign, maternity care, palliative services, and digital health tools like the Patient Hub and virtual consultations.

Importantly, the report celebrates the contributions of individuals and communities who have shared their stories, insights, and time to help us improve. Whether through surveys, focus groups, lived experience panels, or co-design events, their voices have helped us build a more inclusive, responsive, and person-centred health system.

We encourage everyone patients, carers, staff, and other stakeholders to read the report and see how your input is making a difference. Together, we are transforming care and ensuring that the public voice remains at the heart of everything we do.
