NHSGGC Statement – Red Wing Medical Practice

We recognise how frustrating the recent disruption was for patients, and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) would like to offer our sincere apologies for the inconvenience and any distress caused.

The issue related to IT systems, which were outwith the control of the Red Wing practice. NHSGGC worked closely with the practice and IT providers to address the problem, and we are reassured that the issue has significantly improved, allowing the practice to function normally.

During this time, the Red Wing practice put temporary arrangements in place to ensure patients with urgent needs continued to receive care, and we are grateful to patients for their understanding and patience.
