NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is looking for two new Board members to help improve the health and wellbeing of people living here.
Board members play a key role in the efficient, effective and accountable governance of our organisation.
This is a particularly exciting time to join NHSGGC as we launch our bold, system-wide improvement programme to transform unscheduled and planned care through our Transforming Together programme.
Applications are invited from anyone with an interest in public service, and those who are committed to the NHS in Scotland.
NHSGGC is Scotland’s biggest health board and currently looks after a core population of more than 1.3 million patients, almost a quarter of the population of the country.
We provide a range of primary, community-based, acute and psychiatric hospital services, as well as highly specialised national and regional services for people throughout the country.

Dr Lesley Thomson KC, Chair of the NHSGGC Board, said: “This is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic leadership and oversight to Scotland’s largest health board.
“NHSGGC is at the early stage of a whole system reform and renewal to ensure it continues to deliver the best possible care to patients now and in the future.
“We would welcome applications from those with an interest in health, public service and transformation.
“We want to hear from people from a range of diverse backgrounds and different walks of life to ensure we reflect the population we serve.”
