At the beginning of last year when the COVID-19 pandemic struck NHSGGC had to put a hold on its annual staff Excellence Awards.
In the year and a half that has passed, each and every one of our staff deserves an award for the hard work and dedication they have all shown to their patients and NHSGGC.
Now is the time for residents in the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde area to nominate their local NHS hero for these prestigious awards.

NHSGGC Deputy Medical Director for acute services, Dr Scott Davidson said: “Each and every day staff deliver outstanding patient care and go that extra mile to ensure our patients and their families receive the optimum in patient care.
“We know fantastic innovations take place across the organisation and we have created the opportunity to recognise the people that go above and beyond to ensure the highest standard of patient centred care.
“We have been through an extraordinary period in the NHS’s history and these awards will go some way to recognising the incredible effort and sacrifices our staff have made.
