Spotlight on: Community Action and Standing Together (North West Glasgow)
This spotlight brings together a short selection of local examples in the North West of Glasgow that showcase different approaches to bringing people together, alongside some information on relevant training opportunities, practical tools and resources that may be useful in your own work.
This spotlight was created during Black History Month 2026. This year’s theme, “Honouring Our Communities,” invites us to recognise the individuals whose everyday contributions shape, support and sustain Black life across the United Kingdom.
In the spirit of honouring the people, organisations and partnerships that help make our communities stronger, we hope this spotlight provides inspiration, encouragement and ideas for strengthening inclusive communities where everyone feels welcome, valued and able to participate.
