Taking into account all of the information available, and for the reasons set out above, it was the view of the Committee that the provision of pharmaceutical services in or to the neighbourhood (as defined in Paragraphs 10.7-10.11 above) and the level of service provided by the existing contractors in the neighbourhood, was currently adequate and that it was therefore neither necessary nor desirable to have an additional pharmacy at the proposed premises. It was the unanimous decision of the PPC that the application be refused.

The PPC was satisfied that the provision of pharmaceutical services at the premises of the Applicant was not necessary or desirable in order to secure adequate provision of pharmaceutical services in the neighbourhood in which the premises were located by persons whose names are included in the Pharmaceutical List. In the circumstances, it was the unanimous decision of the PPC that the application be refused.
