We’re playing a leading role in a new study looking at how AI could help diagnose lung cancer earlier and keep patients safer.Working with partners across the UK, the SWIFT-Lung study is testing new digital tools to help us spot and assess lung nodules more quickly, so people get the right care at the right time.A key part of this is a system that automatically flags patients who may need follow-up, helping make sure no one is missed and reducing delays in diagnosis.Lung cancer is still the most common cause of cancer-related death in the UK, so earlier diagnosis can make a real difference to outcomes.By supporting our clinical teams with better information and prioritisation, this work aims to improve patient safety, reduce waiting times and make the diagnostic process less stressful for patients.Read more: www.nhsggc.scot/nhs-greater-glasgow-and-clyde-leads-new-study-using-ai-to-improve-lung-cancer-dia… See MoreSee Less
