Inverclyde residents are reminded that GP practices and many pharmacies will be closed on Monday 6th July for the local Fair weekend.
People who need medicines regularly are encouraged to think ahead and ensure they have an appropriate supply of their repeat prescriptions.
Routine medications will not be issued by the GP Out of Hours service.

If you need urgent medical attention and cannot wait until your GP practice reopens, please contact NHS 24 on 111.
The Inverclyde GP Out of Hours service will be open on Saturday 4th, Sunday 5th and Monday 6th, but is by-appointment only, so please ensure you call NHS 24 on 111 first.
For those who need to travel to appointments, free patient transport is available where required.
