Giovanni D’Alessio is an IT professional with over 25 years’ industry experience and spent his early career as a management consultant -initially in the USA, before relocating to the UK.
He has worked in a variety of industries, including retail, manufacturing, telecoms, energy. Giovanni, a member of the Board of the Ecology Building Society since 2022, brings a wealth of knowledge and skills in the areas of Technology, Digital Transformation and Cyber Security.
Giovanni was previously the CEO of Doosan Digital Innovation Europe from 2014 until March 2025, a company delivering Digital and Cybersecurity services to customers in a variety of sectors.
Giovanni lives in Glasgow with his wife and three teenage children. In his spare time, he enjoys both the outdoors (practising sports such as cycling and running) and indoors (reading, playing guitar, drawing and chess)

Jamie Kinlochan is a counsellor and founder of Hopeful Spaces, a community-based therapy service in Paisley, focused on making counselling accessible at the point of need. He holds a master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Strathclyde.
Jamie received a British Empire Medal (BEM) in the New Year’s Honours for his work during the COVID-19 pandemic and is an alumnus of the US State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program.
He has served on the boards of SAMH and Amma Birth Companions and is currently a member of the Scotland Committee at Shelter. He brings governance experience across national and community organisations, alongside expert insight in mental health and community engagement, with a focus on accessibility, dignity, and person-centred care.
Jamie Kinlochan’s appointment is for four years, from 25 August 2025 until 24 August 2029.

She currently chairs the Area Clinical Forum, having been Chair of the Area Medical Committee since mid 2023. She also is the Acute Representative on the East Dunbartonshire IJB.

William Edwards was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive in May 2025 having held the role of Chief Operating Officer from January 2022.
Prior to this he was Director of eHealth and Digital services at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde from July 2017, having been the Interim Director since November 2016.
He has held leadership roles at both local and national level since joining the NHS in June 1999. William is passionate about improving our services for the benefit of both staff and patients.
Professor Jann Gardner, Chief Executive of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde
Having started her career as a clinical pharmacist training in both NHS Lanarkshire and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Jann worked through progressively senior roles in her professional field.
She then progressed through a number of wider hospital and healthcare management roles, including Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer in NHS Fife before being appointed as a Chief Executive, initially with NHS Golden Jubilee and then, in December 2022, with NHS Lanarkshire.
Jann was appointed as NHSGGC’s Chief Executive on 1st February 2025.
Dr Scott Davidson was appointed Medical Director of Greater Glasgow and Clyde in October 2024.
Scott qualified in Medicine from the University of Aberdeen in 1994 before moving to continue his training in Glasgow. He undertook a period of research in Lung Cancer, achieving an MD through the Cancer Research UK Beatson Laboratories. He then went on to join the West of Scotland training scheme for General Internal and Respiratory Medicine, working with many inspirational clinical leaders throughout his research and training. Scott is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Physicians in Glasgow and the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh.
He was appointed as a Consultant Respiratory Physician at the Southern General Hospital in 2006. There, he helped to develop the Lung Cancer service, and became Lead Clinician for medicine, before moving to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital when it opened in 2015. There he specialised in the home ventilation of patients with neuromuscular disease, leading the service until 2020.
Scott was the Clinical Director for medical services in the QEUH shortly after it opened, before becoming the South sector Chief of Medicine. He was appointed Deputy Medical Director for Acute services in 2019, remaining in this role until becoming Board Medical Director.
Dr Scott Davidson has a wealth of experience and a proven track record of clinical leadership. This was achieved locally through his clinical services, the pandemic, and leading transformational change both locally and nationally through the redesign of urgent care programmes.

Councillor Robert Moran is appointed as a non-executive member of the Board from 22nd July 2024 until 30th April 2027. He is a former Provost of Inverclyde and current Inverclyde Council elected member representing Ward 2 Inverclyde East Central and is the Chair of the Inverclyde Integrated Joint Board (IJB) – the organisation that oversees local health and social care functions delegated to it by the Inverclyde Council and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde health board and delivered by Inverclyde Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP). He is also chair of the General Purposes Board, the Council’s civic licensing regulatory board.
Robert was first elected as a councillor in 1994 and served for two years. He was re-elected in 2003 and has served continuously since then. He was Provost of Inverclyde from 2012 until 2017.
Robert is a former Convener of Health and Social Care and was a Children’s Panel member for a number of years, also serving as Inverclyde’s representative on the Area Support Team, which provides support to the Panel. He also previously served as Convener of the Council’s Safe, Sustainable Communities Committee, served on the Strathclyde Police and Fire boards for eight years, was a member of COSLA Executive Committees for nine years, and was also the council’s Health Champion.
Prior to entering politics, Robert worked as a fabricator and steelwork supervisor on oil rigs and in shipyards.

Karen Turner became a member of the Board on 1st July 2024.
Karen has over 40 years’ experience working in health, including as Director of Mental Health for NHS England (2015 – 2018) where she oversaw a new plan and funding for the expansion of mental health services in England.
Karen has had different roles in the NHS, in the prevention of poor health and in health policy, and particularly enjoys working with patient partners, with staff, local councils and research academics to deliver effective and compassionate care to patients.
Karen is a lay trustee and Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. She is Chair of Strength and Learning through Horses, which offers equine therapy and education to young people facing disadvantage.
